HR Generalist

We are a growing team based in Budapest which is part of a larger global organization with 2,500 employees that provides digital solutions to clients around the world in several sectors such as tech, finance, marketing and healthcare. We use agile practices to solve complex engineering problems for clients such as Deloitte, Google, HP, Santander and Starbucks.​

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist/Office Manager to join our team. This dual role is crucial for providing HR support while maintaining efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, have excellent communication skills, and be able to foster a positive work environment.

Role Description

HR Support:

  • Administer various HR plans and procedures for all company personnel

  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures

  • Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviewing

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

  • Experience in an IT company is a plus

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues

  • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, feedback, and evaluations

  • Work closely with other departments to align HR practices with organizational goals

 

Office Management:

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient working environment.

  • Assist in planning and organizing company events, meetings, and employee activities.

  • Serve as the point of contact for office-related inquiries and issues

  • Coordinate with IT support to resolve technical issues and maintain office equipment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • Proven experience as an HR professional

  • Strong written and spoken English skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of HR principles and practices

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workforce

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Experience with IT industry
